A Look Into Working in Concierge

As a Concierge, you’ll be the heartbeat of our guest experience—engaging personally with VIPs and guests from all over the world while ensuring every detail of their stay is seamless, thoughtful, and elevated. This highly interactive role combines hospitality, creativity, and operational excellence, making every day different and every guest feel like a priority.

 

Pay rate is based on experience, with performance-based raises and monthly bonus incentives.

Responsibilities

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Build meaningful connections with guests to anticipate needs and personalize their stay

  • Coordinate and deliver VIP amenities, recognizing special occasions like birthdays and anniversaries

  • Assemble, decorate, and deliver custom gift baskets and Radisson Rewards packages

  • Interact with guests in the lobby, provide local insights, and respond to inquiries with warmth and professionalism

  • Share guest preferences and special requests with the team to tailor services accordingly

  • Maintain and manage inventory of concierge supplies and amenities

  • Stay updated on hotel facilities, services, and current events both on property and in the surrounding area

  • Execute daily shift tasks aligned with standard operating procedures

  • Efficiently transition between roles and assist with front desk responsibilities when needed

  • Respond to guest concerns with empathy while upholding hotel policy

  • Cross-sell hotel services and upsell opportunities in real-time

  • Resolve billing disputes clearly and confidently when applicable

  • Contribute to a collaborative and positive team environment focused on continuous improvement

  • Maintain strong stewardship of hotel time and resources

  • Actively participate in ongoing training to stay current on service standards and product knowledge

  • Direct impact on guest satisfaction and VIP experiences

  • Creative opportunities through personalized amenities and celebrations

  • Dynamic, team-oriented atmosphere with cross-functional collaboration

  • Perform other duties as assigned, requested or deemed necessary by management

  • Ambassador for Radisson and GHG standards

Qualifications

What You Need for this Position

  • Must be available to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts based on hotel needs

  • Demonstrates flexibility and a positive attitude in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment

  • Strong multitasking and organizational skills; able to balance multiple priorities efficiently

  • Quick decision-maker with strong problem-solving skills

  • Efficient typist with solid computer literacy; experience with Opera or similar PMS is a plus

  • Advanced understanding of food and beverage products, including wine and spirits

  • Bartending experience preferred but not required

  • Valid Food Service Certification required; must complete training with excellence

  • TIPS Certification required; must follow alcohol service training standards

  • Must comply with health, safety, and sanitation guidelines, including proper chemical handling

  • Reliable personal transportation with a clean driving record required

  • Strong attention to personal appearance and professional presentation, representing Radisson brand standards

  • Able to stand for extended periods (8+ hours)

  • Able to stoop, bend, and lift up to 40 pounds as needed

  • Comfortable performing repetitive motion tasks

  • Driven by purpose, mission, and values with a strong sense of integrity

  • Receptive to coaching and continuous improvement

  • Guest-focused, enthusiastic, and professional in all interactions
