What You’ll Be Doing

May include, but not limited to:

• Communicate to Ice Events Coordinator any problems that need attention
• Keep score and run scoreboard
• Operate time clock and monitor penalty situations
• Assist on-ice officials in overall conducting of game
• Serve as a liaison between officials and teams both before and after game
• Secure game rosters from each team prior to start of game
• Ensure scoresheet is property completed and signed by officials and follow after game protocol
• Manage any inquiries regarding length of game, suspension of players or variations of rules
• Remain impartial at all times

What You Need for this Position

• Ability to ice skate and have basic skating skills
• Ability to communicate and manage patrons on the ice
• Enforce all safety rules related to ice skating and the facility
• Available for nights and weekends
• Able to sit or stand for long periods of time, up to 8 hours or more
• Able to stoop and bend
• Able to lift up to 40 pounds from time to time
• Able to comply with safety standards
