As the face of the business and a key member of our leadership team, you’ll play a vital role in training new hosts, upholding standard operating procedures (SOPs), and helping us build a culture of excellence.

Responsibilities

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Serve as the first and last point of contact for our guests, consistently delivering a warm, professional, and welcoming experience.
  • Lead by example on the floor, ensuring your team provides exceptional service and maintains a polished, guest-focused demeanor.
  • Train and mentor new host team members, ensuring they are fully equipped with the tools and knowledge to succeed.
  • Uphold and enforce SOPs, ensuring consistency and operational excellence throughout every shift.
  • Maintain accurate waitlists and seating charts while communicating effectively with the front-of-house and management teams.
  • Proactively resolve guest concerns or issues with professionalism, empathy, and urgency.
  • Support overall restaurant operations by staying calm, organized, and efficient, especially during peak hours.
  • Foster a positive, team-oriented environment that supports staff growth and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

What You Need for this Position

  • Previous experience in a host or supervisory role in a high-volume restaurant or hospitality setting preferred.
  • Comfortable training and coaching team members at varying experience levels.
  • Ability to stay composed and effective in fast-paced, high-pressure situations.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask efficiently.
  • Naturally lead and take initiative and thrive in a team-first environment.
  • A passion for hospitality and a strong sense of ownership in the guest experience.
  • Great attention to detail, high personal standards, and a professional demeanor.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to give clear direction and motivate others.
  • Reliability, punctuality, and commitment to delivering excellence every day.
