At Blush Salon + Spa, we’re looking for a professional hairstylist who is seeking more than just a chair—we’re looking for someone ready to invest in their long-term career and be a part of something exceptional. What You’ll Be Doing

  • Greet everyone in salon with integrity, courtesy, and a friendly smile
  • Display confidence and professionalism at all times
  • Interact cooperatively with other spa team members to provide a seamless customer experience
  • Present an exemplary professional standard in dress, personal grooming, hairstyle, makeup, language and healthy lifestyle
  • Anticipate the needs of the guests and provide them with utmost assistance
  • Ability to have flexibility and effectively multitask
  • High level of organizational skills
  • When not servicing clients, tend to additional job responsibilities
  • Maintain high energy in order to work effectively in a fast paced environment
  • Complete each service within the time frame designated for our level
  • Continuously promote yourself, the spa, and the salon to ensure that you're growing productively
  • Maintain opening and closing duties
  • Practice the highest standard of sanitation and tidiness
  • Maintain acceptable level of cleanliness of workstation, surrounding area, and equipment as required by law
  • Follow health code procedures, including equipment sanitization/ sterilization
  • Maintain towels, supplies, and environment
  • Participate in all coaching, salon/ company meetings, and training sessions
  • Know pricing, services, and policies of the Salon and have the ability to sell and upgrade
  • Follow Greenleaf Hospitality Group procedures
  • All other duties that the Spa General Manager has set forth

Qualifications

What You Need for this Position

  • Able to stand for long periods of time, up to 8 hours or more
  • Be licensed in treatments that are required to perform on clientele
  • Able to stoop and bend
  • Able to lift up to 40 pounds from time to time
  • Able to safely work with potentially dangerous chemicals and equipment
  • Able to comply with safety and health code standards
  • Able to handle responsibilities that require repetitive motion tasks
  • High level of organizational skills
  • Ability to have flexibility and effectively multitask
