What You’ll Be Doing

Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

• Ensure the accurate delivery of world-class Audio Visual products for Greenleaf Hospitality Group
• Perform basic setup, teardown, and troubleshooting AV equipment for staff and guests
• Replace flip-chart pads, markers, and batteries in related equipment as needed
• Ability to maintain AV equipment, and to accurately troubleshoot basic issues
• Learn and gain working knowledge of how to read a Banquet Event Order (BEO)
• Enable/Disable Wireless internet in events spaces via the InnFlux web interface
• Perform other duties assigned by leadership as needed
• Ensure the safe storage and integrity of data and equipment
• Perform duties on location
• Clean audio and video equipment and store properly
• Set up and install equipment such as microphones, sound speakers, vide screens, projectors, video monitors, recording equipment, connecting wires and cables, sound and mixing boards for events and functions such as concerts, sports events, meetings and conventions, presentations, and news conferences

What You Need for this Position

• Open availability with work shifts, including but not limited to nights, weekends, holidays, split shifts, as well as very early mornings, and late nights to ensure that all events are appropriately staffed

• Long periods of Standing and Sitting

• Able to stoop and bend

• Able to lift up to 20 pounds from time to time

• Able to handle responsibilities that may require repetitive motion tasks

• Strong communication and analytical skills with an attention to detail

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills as applied to interaction with coworkers, supervisor, general public, etc.

• Must be a self-starter, with the ability to anticipate the needs of guests

• 1-3 years of professional AV experience desired

• Experience with low-voltage cabling a plus

• Experience with Crestron systems
