What You’ll Be Doing

This is a very hands-on role in a high paced environment. Responsibilities and duties may include:

• Greet clients, check out guests, and schedule appointments
• Help the salon team with their daily tasks
• Gather supplies
• Mix and apply color
• Shampoo and style hair
• General cleaning including sterilizing tools
• Gather social media content
• You will have the opportunity to continue your hands-on education as well as business building skills with class days and model days all while beginning to grow your own clientele.

What You Need for this Position

• A license in Cosmetology and ability to mix and apply color and style/wash hair
• Able to stand for long periods of time, up to 8 hours or more
• Able to stoop and bend
• Able to lift up to 40 pounds from time to time
• Able to safely work with potentially dangerous chemicals and equipment
• Able to comply with safety and health code standards
• Able to handle responsibilities that require repetitive motion tasks
• High level of organizational skills
• Ability to have flexibility and effectively multitask
