Responsibilities
What You’ll Be Doing
- Cleans all assigned outlet floors
- Sweeps, mops, scrubs, strips, waxes, and polishes to renew floor surfaces
- Cleans and shampoos carpets
- Operates various cleaning machines (e.g., buffers, shampooers, vacuums, hall machines, extractors)
- Cleans, dusts, and waxes furniture and fixtures; shampoos upholstered furniture; washes walls; cleans glass and mirrors; removes and hangs drapes
- Empties and cleans trash receptacles and/or recycling bins
- Scrubs, cleans, and sanitizes restrooms, shower facilities, and/or food service areas and equipment; replenishes supplies
- Moves and arranges furniture and equipment; may set up rooms for functions and events
- Maintains a clean and orderly supply closet; monitors supply levels and reports supply needs to supervisor
- Assists with any special cleaning projects
- Perform related duties as assigned
Qualifications
What You Need for this Position
- 1+ years of experience in floorcare
- Self motivated - no micromanagement. Be able to come in and take care of responsibilities with little to no direction.
- Able to stand for long periods of time, up to 8 hours or more
- Able to stoop and bend
- Occasionally able to lift up to 40 pounds
- Able to safely work with potentially dangerous chemicals and equipment
- Able to comply with safety and health code standards
- Able to handle responsibilities that require repetitive motion tasks
