Protecting guests from crime or any dangerous situation
Responding to all emergency situations
Removing vagrants from the property and those who cause disturbances
Ensuring all employees know what to do in the event of an emergency
Maintaining guestroom security
Patrolling guest areas and maintaining presence
Ensuring proper lighting is maintained
Encouraging guests to take advantage of security features available in their rooms
Controlling access to property
Monitoring surveillance cameras
Securing interior and exterior doors
Investigating suspicious persons
Protecting assets
Managing emergencies
Investigating incidents
Maintaining accurate records
Building relationships with unit managers during walk-through
Documenting reports for any situation, issue, accidents or injury involving guests, or associates
Reporting suspicious activity to management
Assisting associates with needs and requests at security window

2+ years of experience in the Security, or Safety and Loss Prevention industry (required).
Ability to safely work and comply with safety and health code standards
Able to stand for long periods of time, up to 8 hours or more
Able to stoop and bend
Occasionally able to lift up to 40 pounds
Able to safely work with potentially dangerous chemicals and equipment
Able to comply with safety and health code standards
