Responsibilities

Our mission is to create an environment where every guest feels our pride and passion for delivering exceptional and unique experiences and craves returning.  As a key member of our hospitality team, you'll be responsible for curating and delivering memorable food and beverage experiences for various group sizes.  Your role will involve crafting exquisite coffee selections, arranging decorative snack, lunch, and breakfast buffets, and going the extra mile to ensure customer satisfaction.  We will train you on the skills needed to set up, serve, interact with guests, understand food and beverage, respond to guest requests, and anticipate guest needs.  You will do this daily as part of a larger team that is committed to respecting and supporting each other, providing friendly and memorable interactions with our guests, and having fun. 

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Using time management skills to to ensure timely delivery and setup of multiple food and beverage stations for assigned events.
  • Using large inventory of products, create visually appealing food and beverage set ups consisting of non alcoholic beverage stations as well as snack, lunch, and breakfast buffets.
  • Collaborating with the hotel's culinary team to coordinate food offerings and presentation.
  • Preparing and brewing exceptional coffee and tea, ensuring quality and consistency.
  • Providing breakfast or lunch service for small events up to 30 guests, ensuring a seamless guest experience with larger events.
  • Upholding the highest standards of customer service by proactively providing personalized guest experiences in a friendly, engaging, and knowledgeable manner
  • Respecting and supporting fellow team members
  • Maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the coffee breaks area before, during and after events.
  • Working quickly and efficiently in a fast paced, high energy environment
  • Upholding service standards outlined in training

Qualifications

What You Need for this Position

  • Previous experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry is preferred
  • Flexible schedule to accommodate varying event times and requirements. Specifically early weekday mornings.
  • Ability to demonstrate exceptional time management skills
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously without compromising on quality.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a larger team
  • A positive and enthusiastic attitude with a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
  • Able to stand for long periods of time, up to 8 hours or more
  • Able to stoop and bend
  • Able to lift up to 40 pounds from time to time
  • Able to safely work with potentially dangerous chemicals and equipment
  • Able to comply with safety and health code standards
  • Able to handle responsibilities that require repetitive motion tasks
