What You’ll Be Doing
- Performs cleaning tasks in public areas, including vacuuming, sweeping, moping and collecting garbage
- Checks guest elevators, cleans carpets and polishes brass as necessary
- Maintains cleanliness of all windows, glass and doors
- Dusts all tables, lamps and ledges in public areas
- Maintains public restrooms and makes routine checks to ensure cleanliness
- Maintains supply levels in public areas, i.e. toilet paper, Kleenex and soap
Qualifications
What You Need for this Position
- Able to stand for long periods of time, up to 8 hours or more
- Able to stoop and bend
- Occasionally able to lift up to 40 pounds
- Able to safely work with potentially dangerous chemicals and equipment
- Able to comply with safety and health code standards
- Able to handle responsibilities that require repetitive motion tasks
