What You’ll Be Doing

  • Ensure the accurate delivery of world-class Audio Visual products and services for Greenleaf Hospitality Group
  • Install, teardown, and troubleshoot AV equipment for staff and guests including but not exclusive to set ups containing: microphones, sound speakers, video screens, lcd projectors, video monitors, recording equipment, mixers, flip-chart packages, audio mixing, built-in room audio and visual components, power needs, uplights, wireless and wired internet, and more
  • Work closely with guests to integrate and troubleshoot guest provided equipment with Radisson provided equipment including but not exclusive to: connecting wires and cables, laptops, storage devices, networked printers, and more
  • Provide dedicate production services during events including but not exclusive to sound and mixing boards for events and functions such as concerts, sports events, meetings and conventions, presentations, and news conferences
  • Ability to maintain AV equipment and to accurately troubleshoot basic issues
  • Learn and gain working knowledge of how to read a Banquet Event Order (BEO)
  • Perform other duties assigned by leadership as needed
  • Ensure the safe storage and integrity of data and equipment
  • Perform duties on location
  • Clean audio and video equipment and store properly
  • Work closely with Banquets department and the Sales & Catering staff to establish and nurture positive working relationships


What You Need for this Position

  • Open availability with work shifts, including but not limited to nights, weekends, holidays, split shifts, as well as very early mornings, and late nights to ensure that all events are appropriately staffed
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills as applied to interaction with coworkers, supervisor, general public, etc.
  • Strong communication, analytical skills, and problem solving skills with an attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
  • Professional Presentation
  • Long periods of Standing and Sitting
  • Able to stoop and bend
  • Able to lift up to 20 pounds from time to time
  • Able to handle responsibilities that may require repetitive motion tasks
  • Must be a self-starter, with the ability to anticipate the needs of guests
  • 1-3 years of professional AV experience desired
  • Experience with low-voltage cabling a plus
  • Experience with Crestron systems
